Townsfolk from Crested Butte planting trees on the reclaimed Peanut Mine site. |
Hello, and welcome to my blog. On this blog, I've posted some examples of work I've done for various clients. I'm especially proud of videos produced for the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, showing successful environmental clean up projects. Thanks for dropping by!
DRMS: Reclaiming Paradise
The people of the Colorado town of Crested Butte solved a very old environmental problem. Community members worked cooperatively with the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety to clean up the land around the abandoned Peanut Mine. This opened up the trail to the Oh Be Joyful Wilderness area, and eliminated a very unsightly, toxic mine waste dump. This video explains the project. It was produced by Renaissance Media.
